Becoming a SLGO member
Members of the St. Lawrence Global Observatory (SLGO) are government agencies, non-governmental organizations, universities, research organizations and industries whose expertise and/or fields of interest are related to the observation and study of the St. Lawrence ecosystem and its watersheds.
Benefits of being part of SLGO
Members
- Contribute to making accessible a legacy of information regarding the St. Lawrence via a common Internet portal open to all;
- Ensure greater outreach of their data;
- Participate in a multiparty roundtable dedicated to information dissemination as well as the sustainable management of the St. Lawrence ecosystem;
- Participate in the development of joint initiatives geared toward research and environmental monitoring;
- Promote the reduction of data collection duplication;
- Participate in training sessions and workshops organised by SLGO (i.e. data management, metadata documentation, etc.).
