The St. Lawrence Global Observatory will be participating in a scientific session entitled "Ocean Observatories, online and operational" at the 3rd Joint Congress of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society and the Canadian Geophysical Union to be held in Ottawa from May 31^st to June 4^th 2010.

The session co-chaired by Mr. Richard Dewey and Ms. Mairi Best, from the University of Victoria, will focus on new opportunities offered by ocean observatories in terms of science, engineering, education and awareness.
