The utility offers several conversion options. The simplest conversion
options allow one to extract all the data in the files (option
1) or to replace the data flagged as erroneous (option 2) or
as doubtful and erroneous (option 3) with the null value -99.0.
The utility can also be used to average the data according
to a chosen depth interval (option 4). Options 5 through 8
allow one to regroup the variables depth, temperature, salinity,
sigma-t, fluorescence, and dissolved oxygen from several ODF-CTD
files into a single simplified file (CTD_Data.TXT).
To use this utility, place all the ODF-CTD files that you wish
to convert as well as the file ODF2TXT.exe in the same directory.
You then click on the ODF2TXT.exe file and choose the appropriate
option. The file or files in simplified TXT format will be created
in this same directory.
