Occasionally, you will not be able to recover
certain data files. If this happens, the number of data files included
in the ZIP file that you downloaded will be lower than the number
of files returned by the query that you submitted. Most data archived
in the system have “public” access while a certain number
have “restricted” access.
According to the department's management policy for scientific
data (ajoute lien?), scientists who collect data within a research
project have exclusive use of that data for a period of at least
two years from when the data are available in the system. Thus,
data having restricted access will eventually be made public.
